CEO & Founder | Senior Appraiser
David J. Manzi is the CEO, founder, and Senior Appraiser of Manzi Appraisers & Restoration. A United States Marine Corps veteran and member of the National Association of Professional Appraisers, David holds a Master of Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in American History.
His professional work encompasses the appraisal, research, restoration, conservation, damage assessment, and secondary-market evaluation of tangible personal property. He has served as appraiser and consultant on assignments involving individual heirlooms, fine and decorative art, antiques, residential contents, substantial private collections, complete estates, insurance claims, equitable distributions, charitable contributions, and complex fiduciary matters.
David regularly works with private clients, collectors, attorneys, executors, trustees, insurance professionals, moving and relocation companies, corporations, nonprofit organizations, and institutions. His direct involvement in restoration and the secondary market gives him a practical understanding of an object’s complete life cycle—from identification, documentation, and valuation through conservation, restoration, acquisition, and resale.
Since founding Manzi Appraisers & Restoration in 2021, David has developed the company into a multidisciplinary personal-property firm serving clients throughout New England and beyond. Through its traditional onsite practice and ValueNow™ professional online appraisal service, the company has now assisted clients across all 50 states, U.S. territories, and 15 countries.
